How can I insert a SIM card in the control panel?

insert the SIM card in the space provided, in the battery compartment, chip toward the control panel. The control panel of the T6 only supports regular SIM cards. It does not support Micro SIM and Nano SIM cards.

I have installed my SIM card in the control panel, but the control panel cannot find a GSM signal (the GSM signal indicator blinks once every second)

Make sure you have inserted a SIM card in the control panel. If that is not the case, insert the SIM card in the space provided, in the battery compartment. Attention, the control panel only supports regular SIM cards. Micro SIM and Nano SIM cards are not supported.

If you have inserted a SIM card in the control panel, make sure the SIM card is not blocked with a PIN code. Remove the SIM card from the control panel, insert it in a phone and deactivate the PIN code (refer to the user manual of your phone if necessary). Then insert the SIM card in the control panel of your alarm system again.

If the previous operation has not solved the issue, move the control panel to another location where the GSM reception is better.

I do not receive any SMS when my system is disarmed by RFID tag?

To receive SMS notifications when your system is disarmed by RFID tag, you need:

to have stored at least one telephone number for RFID tag notifications in your control panel

to have registered the RFID tag(s) in the control panel

to have renamed the RFID tag(s)

To save a telephone number for RFID tag notifications, send 6 by SMS to your control panel. Copy, paste and edit the reply you have received by SMS, and send the message.

The first telephone number saved (the telephone number that is displayed on the first line of the SMS) will receive the SMS notifications when the system is disarmed by RFID tag.

To rename the RFID tag(s), send 10 by SMS to your control panel. Copy, paste and edit the reply you have received by SMS, and send the message.

If the operation described above does not solve the issue, try the operation using another RFID tag.

What are the zones ?

Each detector can be assigned to one of the 4 categories of zones: Normal zone, Home Mode zone, Delay zone or 24h zone. The zones enable the detectors to behave differently when the system is armed, disarmed or triggered:

Normal zone

When the control panel is armed (or in Home Mode), if a detector assigned to the Normal zone is triggered, the siren rings out. When the system is disarmed, the detector does trigger the alarm.

Home Mode zone

The detectors assigned to the Home Mode zone do not trigger the alarm when the system is armed in Home Mode.

We recommend you to assign the motion detectors to the Home Mode zone, so that they will not trigger the alarm even when the system is armed in Home Mode. The door/window contacts will however trigger the alarm (provided they have not been assigned to the Home Mode zone too).

Delay zone

The detectors assigned to the Delay zone will only trigger the alarm after a delay set (counting from the arming or disarming of the alarm system). This enables you to arm or disarm you alarm system from the control panel without triggering the alarm.

We recommend you to assign the detectors located in the entrance of your home to the Delay zone. The delay before the arming or disarming of the detectors assigned to the Delay zone can be changed, please refer to the user manual of your alarm system.

24h zone

The detectors assigned to the 24h zone trigger the alarm in any circumstance, whether the system is armed or not. We recommend you to assign smoke detectors to the 24h zone.

To assign a detector to a zone, open its case and move the jumpers according to the drawings in the user manual of your alarm system. Once the zone of the accessory has been changed, the detector must be registered again in the control panel.

When I create an account in the app for my alarm system, what is the SIM card number?

The SIM card number of your alarm system is the telephone number of the SIM card you have inserted in the control panel of your alarm system.
